Three generations. One enduring legacy.
A legacy built on trust, and a taste passed down through generations.
For over eight decades, Sri Srinivasa Flour Mill has been part of the everyday lives of families in Srivilliputhur.
Our journey began in 1946, when Mr. T. Govindan Iyengar founded Sri Srinivasa Flour Mill with a simple belief — quality earns trust, and trust is earned one customer at a time.
What began as a humble grinding mill soon became a trusted destination for families across the region. In those early days, customers brought their own grains and ingredients to us, trusting our hands to transform them into finely ground, quality products. That trust became our greatest legacy.
Three generations, one enduring legacy
The journey continued with the next generation when Mr. Kannan Iyengar, son of our founder, carried the family business forward. With the same commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the mill evolved with changing times — what started as a traditional grinding service expanded into quality flours and authentic masala powders, while preserving the taste and values that generations of customers had come to trust.
Today, the legacy continues with Mr. K. Govintha Sutharsan, son of Mr. Kannan Iyengar, leading Sri Srinivasa Flour Mill into its next chapter. The generations may have changed and the technology may have evolved, but our commitment to quality remains the same.
Tradition meets modern precision
Today, Sri Srinivasa Flour Mill operates with 10+ grinding machines, including dedicated machinery for different product categories. This allows us to maintain consistency, hygiene and quality while meeting the growing needs of our customers.
We continue to combine the wisdom of traditional methods with modern technology, ensuring that every product that leaves our mill carries the same care and commitment that defined us from the beginning.
Trusted by 4,000+ families every month
Over the decades, Sri Srinivasa Flour Mill has grown from a local grinding mill into a name trusted by families across Srivilliputhur and beyond. Today, our flours and traditional masalas — sold under the Mangala Sundari name — serve 4,000+ families every month.
For us, these are not just numbers. They represent thousands of kitchens, countless meals, family traditions and generations of trust.

- Founded
- 1946, Srivilliputhur
- Generations
- Three, one family
- Grinding machines
- 10+, dedicated by category
- Where we ship
- All of India, from Srivilliputhur
Four steps, none of them skippable
Each one costs time or yield. Together they are the whole difference between this and the packet on the shelf.
- 01
Sourced within two districts
Ramnad for chilli, Erode for turmeric, Dharmapuri for jowar. Short supply chains are not a marketing line here — they are why we can see the crop before we buy it.
- 02
Roasted one spice at a time
Coriander needs longer than cumin. Pepper needs less than either. Roasting a blend together is faster and is why most shop masala smells burnt at the edges.
- 03
Ground on dedicated machines
Separate machines for different product categories keep flavours from crossing and hold consistency and hygiene at scale — the same care as before, backed by modern equipment.
- 04
Packed against your order
Nothing is ground into inventory. Your order is milled in the batch that week, which is also why our shelf lives are shorter than the packet in the supermarket.
Made to order
Prepared and packed once your order is placed, not pulled from old stock.
Nothing added
No preservatives, no chemicals, no added colour. The colour is the raw material.
Delivered across India
Two to four working days in Tamil Nadu, three to six elsewhere.
Damaged in transit?
Photograph it and tell us within 48 hours — we replace or refund it.
From our mill to your kitchen
Quality you can trust. Taste you can recognise. A legacy you can feel. The mill is open to visitors on Saturday mornings — there is no tour and no gift shop, but you will be shown the machines and given tea.
