Terms of sale
What you are agreeing to when you place an order.
1. Who you are contracting with
Sri Srinivasa Flour Mills, 18A, Nethaji Road, Srivilliputhur — 626125, Tamil Nadu, India. Trading under the Mangala Sundari brand.
2. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when you pay. If we cannot fulfil an order — a crop failure, a mill breakdown, a pricing error — we will tell you and refund in full.
3. Prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; nothing is added afterwards. Prices can change without notice, but never after you have placed an order.
Agricultural inputs move with the season. A spice that costs more this quarter than last has not been repriced arbitrarily.
4. Dispatch and delivery
Products are prepared and packed against orders. Delivery usually takes two to four business days within Tamil Nadu and three to six business days elsewhere in India. We do not ship outside India. Delivery times are the courier’s and are estimates; delays in the courier network are outside our control, though we will chase them on your behalf.
Delivery is charged by weight, rounded up to the next whole kilogram, at the rates published on the delivery page.
5. Cancellation and returns
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. Cancellation is not available online — email us and, if the order has not yet been packed, we will cancel it. Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
Because of the nature of food products, returns are generally not accepted once delivered, except where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect or in an unacceptable condition and is reported within 48 hours of delivery. Opened, used or partially consumed products are not eligible except where defective or damaged. The full policy is on the returns page and forms part of these terms.
5a. External-use products
The herbal care range — bath, hair and skin powders — is for external use only and must not be consumed. Patch test before first use. These products are not medicines and no therapeutic claim is made for them; if you have a skin condition or a known sensitivity, seek advice before use.
6. Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including ingredients, shelf life and allergen information. Everything is ground in a facility that also handles wheat, groundnut, sesame and tree nuts, so cross-contact cannot be excluded. If you have a severe allergy, do not rely on this facility.
Colour and coarseness vary between batches because the crop does. This is not a defect.
7. Product imagery
Illustrations on this site are representative. Pack design, colour and fill level may differ from what is shown.
8. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which these terms do not affect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Srivilliputhur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer forum you are entitled to approach where you live.
