About Black Pepper Powder
Tellicherry is the largest grade of Malabar pepper, left on the vine until it starts to turn. It costs more per kilo and it is the only grade worth grinding.
Pepper loses its volatile oil faster than any other spice in this catalogue — most of it within two weeks of grinding. We mill weekly against orders rather than holding stock, which is the whole reason this listing exists as a powder at all.
Coarse grind. A fine pepper powder is mostly a way of hiding how old it is.
Ingredients
Everything that goes in, and nothing that does not. No preservatives, no chemicals, no added colour.

How to use
Finish with it rather than cook it — heat drives off what you paid for.
A quarter teaspoon per bowl of rasam, added off the flame.

Worth the price difference
Tellicherry pepper is expensive and this is priced accordingly. It is also three times as aromatic as supermarket pepper. Buy the 100g and use it fast.
