About Jowar Flour
White jowar from the Dharmapuri belt. Ground fine, because a coarse jowar flour will not hold a rotti together and there is no gluten to rescue it.
Gluten free by nature rather than by processing — nothing is removed to make it so.
Best used within six weeks. Jowar goes bitter faster than wheat once the germ is exposed.
Ingredients
Everything that goes in, and nothing that does not. No preservatives, no chemicals, no added colour.
- White jowar (sorghum)
Ground in a facility that also handles wheat, groundnut, sesame and tree nuts.
How to use
Mix with hot water, not cold. It needs the heat to bind.
Pat out by hand between two sheets rather than rolling.

Fine grind, holds together
Jowar rotti is difficult and a coarse flour makes it impossible. This is milled fine enough to work. Use hot water as they say.
